5-Minute Avocado Smoothie

Ingredients

  • ½ cup milk of your choice
  • 1 tsp wildflower honey
  • ½ cup fat free vanilla yogurt
  • 1 large avocado sliced
  • 1 banana sliced
  • 1 cup ice add more for a thicker smoothie

Suggested add-ins

  • 1 shot espresso
  • vanilla protein powder
  • chocolate sauce drizzled along the sides of the cup

Instructions

  • Fill the blender in order of the ingredients listed. See Note 1.
  • Pulse until all the layers have mixed with each other. Then set the blender on low and slowly increase the speed until the "whirlpool" is fully present. Once there, continue blending the whirlpool for at 10-20 seconds.
  • Divide the smoothie into 2 cups.

Notes

Note 1. When making smoothies, your smoothie will blend faster and more evenly when you to add liquids first, then yogurts, fruits, and finally ice.
