How to Make Rose Syrup?
Making rose syrup is simple and requires only a few ingredients. Rose syrup has many applications and can be prepared ahead of time.
You will need sugar, water, and rose petals or buds. If you’d like to dye the syrup (which ensures that the drink will turn pink), you may use hibiscus flowers or food coloring. To make the syrup, dissolve the sugar in water and steep the roses for 20 minutes.

And of course, if you’d like to simplify things even further, we recommend purchasing pre-made rose syrup.
How to Pour Layers of Rose Milk Tea:
You can create beautiful layers in your tapioca pearl drink with an elegantly simple technique.
For 2 layers of pink and brown: Start by mixing the syrup into the milk. Pour the rose milk first into a glass filled with boba and ice. Then top with tea.
For 3 layers of pink, white, and brown: Start by dividing the milk in half. Pour syrup into one half. Pour the rose milk first into a glass filled with boba and ice. Add the plain milk, then top with tea.
For more distinct layers, we recommend pouring the liquids slowly on the back of a spoon. Make sure that the spoon itself is touching the surface of the drink, so that the layers can gently form.
We also recommend using very small ice cubes which can help slow down the flow of the liquids. You can find a special tiny ice cube tray on Amazon.
